Be an adult. Be yourself.
Blink is for adults aged 18 and over. Do not pretend to be someone else, misstate your age, impersonate a public figure or use another person’s photos as your identity. Do not create a profile for a child or seek contact with one.
Represent yourself honestly. A dating conversation should not be a sales funnel, recruitment scheme or way to obtain someone’s money or identity documents.
Respect a boundary the first time
A reply is not a promise of another reply. A match is not consent to sexual content, a meeting or a profile reveal. Accept a no, an unanswered message and a decision to end a conversation.
Do not harass, threaten, stalk, discriminate, dehumanise or use hateful language. Do not pressure someone to disclose their identity, sexual history, location or health information. Sharing intimate images without the necessary consent is prohibited.
Keep private details private
Do not post phone numbers, addresses, workplaces, documents or private chats to expose or embarrass someone. Do not use photo metadata or Shared moments to follow a person, map their routine or infer sensitive facts.
In Events, make plans only at the public places Blink offers. Never use a plan or a chat to ask for someone’s home or work address. A membership never entitles one person to more of another’s attention.
No scams, exploitation or manipulation
Do not ask for money, promote fraudulent investments, distribute malware, automate deceptive interactions or use the service for sexual exploitation. Do not threaten to reveal private information to obtain payment or continued contact.
If a conversation quickly becomes a financial emergency or a promise of guaranteed returns, stop and verify independently. Read our Safety Guide before acting on a request.
Concerns and enforcement
If there is immediate danger, contact local emergency services. For a concern involving Blink or material on this website, use Support and include only the information needed to explain it. Keep a relevant record if it is safe to do so.
In the app you can block, report or unmatch anyone at any time. These guidelines do not claim that a live moderation team, background-check programme or round-the-clock response service is already operating.
For a live service, measures may include content removal, limits or suspension, subject to the circumstances, applicable law and any required explanation or review rights. A proportionate reporting and appeal process must accompany that service.
Maybe you’ve already crossed paths.
